theHRDIRECTOR was delighted to host another of their highly enjoyable events – HRDRINKS, which was attended by Senior HR Practitioners across all sectors and industries. The event was kindly sponsored by Excedo (Link) and hosted by Bacardi (Link) at their London office, where the delegates were served up a range of delicious cocktails and nibbles.

Tracy McDermott, Head of HR, Essar Oil (UK) commented ‘It was indeed a great opportunity to network with like-minded professionals, sharing best practice and mixed in with a fun night.’

The relaxed environment provided an enjoyable evening which had – no presentations, no speeches, just straight-forward networking enabling the delegates to really get to know each other, share opinions and strategies along with creating meaningful connections. Navid Nazemian, Head of HR, Group Finance, Group Finance Human Resources, Vodafone said ‘What an original location this was! It was a pleasure to meet and speak with many of my peers.’

The event ran from 6.30pm to 9.30pm and delegates were welcomed with a cocktail of their choice and were soon relaxing and in deep conversation with their peers. Howard Sloane, Chief People Officer, Essar Oil (UK) commented ‘It was truly an excellent event. Thanks to the hosts and to everyone that I spoke with and I am looking forward to catching up again soon.’ The conversation continued to flow throughout the evening and was still going strong when the proceedings were drawn to an end.

Peter Banks, Founder & Managing Director of theHRDIRECTOR added ‘It was a fabulous evening and I am so pleased that we can organise these events to allow our Senior HR Readership to take some time out of their busy schedule to importantly engage with their peers. There were shared challenges in the room and the face to face networking allowed for in-depth discussion, knowledge sharing and invaluable insight – and it was great fun too!

The next HRDRINKS is on the 16th of January 2020 in central London, so register your interest soonest if you would like to attend as places are limited:
