140 Emails per day over a year equivalent to using 16,800 plastic bags

A typical office worker will on average send and receive 140 emails per day, which over the course of a year creates 1688kg of C02 and is the equivalent of using 16,800 plastic bags. CSR: Warning that official targets and policies are lagging behind

Ivalua, a leading global spend management cloud provider, announced today the results of a commissioned study conducted by Forrester Research on behalf of Ivalua which shows that companies have been prioritising CSR initiatives as part of their core business strategies - and it has paid off.  As consumers increasingly choose brands based on CSR values, 69% of respondents report that their organisations have generated increased sales as a result of CSR initiatives.
