Tate & Lyle PLC (Tate & Lyle), a world leader in ingredient solutions for healthier food and beverages, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tamsin Vine as Chief Human Resources Officer with effect from 1 December 2022. Tamsin also becomes a member of Tate & Lyle’s Executive Committee.
Tamsin, who is based in the UK, will lead Tate & Lyle’s global HR team and continue to focus on evolving Tate & Lyle’s new culture, driving talent development, and creating a diverse and inclusive place to work.
Tamsin joined Tate & Lyle in November 2021 as Vice President, HR, responsible for corporate functions, and organisational development and talent. Prior to joining Tate & Lyle, she spent 12 years in global roles with Sodexo in Paris covering all aspects of people development, from recruitment through to learning and leadership development, performance and talent management. She has also held senior positions at WorldPay and Vodafone.

HireRight is pleased to share that Julie Romero has recently joined the company as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) with a focus on aligning HireRight’s global people strategies, elevating the company’s talent development and total rewards programs, and enhancing HireRight’s ability to find and retain top talent globally.
Ms. Romero is a transformational leader with more than 20 years of extensive global experience in developing high-performing teams, as well as driving change and enabling business success through post-merger and post-acquisition integrations. In her role, she is responsible for creating and driving a human resources strategy that aligns with HireRight’s core business objectives and strategic vision — including continued global expansion as the company focuses on attracting and retaining top talent in support of strategic growth in key markets across the world.
Prior to joining HireRight in June as CHRO, Ms. Romero served as the Vice President, Global People Strategy, at WPP, where she focused on Global Succession & Development. Ms. Romero’s experience also includes leading the Healthcare Human Capital team at Navigant for more than four years, multiple Consulting and HR roles at Accenture over 15+ years, and Organization Development Consultant for Walt Disney World.

Specialist talent solutions provider Nicholas Associates Group has announced the appointment of Julie Davies as their new HR Business Partner.
Julie, who lives in South Wingfield, Derbyshire will primarily be based at the company HQ which is in Rotherham and in her new role will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient HR service across the organisation. Her focus will be on helping to create an environment and culture that will attract, develop, and retain talent by offering a great Employee Value Proposition and place to work.
Julie has an HR career spanning over 20 years and worked for 12 years at Parker Hannifin Corporation initially as a Divisional HR Manager and then as a Global Talent and Organisational Development Manager. Prior to this she was a Regional HR Specialist & Compensation & Benefits Specialist, EMEA for Panduit Europe Limited.
Commenting on her new role Julie said, “I have always sought variety in both my personal and professional life so I was looking for a role that would give me the opportunity to apply my experience in a completely new industry. The recruitment industry is tough and challenging but that’s what I wanted and there is certainly plenty of opportunities in my new role to have a positive impact and a lot of opportunity for growth. I think the real hook for me was the clear commitment from Nick Cragg, our Chairman, towards the well-being of all team members and to support the wider local and global community.”
Julie holds a BSc Hons Hotel Catering & Institutional Management, BA Theology & Counselling, CIPD, and an Executive MBA. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her Springer Spaniel, yoga, and has recently taken up paddle boarding. She has also spent 3 months working for a Relief and Development Agency in Uganda/Sudan supporting an Education Project for young Sudanese children.

LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group), announces that Erica Bourne will join the Group as Chief People Officer and a member of the LSEG Executive Committee. Reporting to David Schwimmer, Erica will join in January 2023. Tim Jones will step down as Chief People Officer when Erica joins and, after supporting with the transition, will leave during Q1 2023.
Erica joins the Group from Burberry, where she is currently Chief People Officer. Prior to Burberry, Erica has held leadership and executive roles in technology, consulting and financial services. During a 12-year period with American Express, Erica progressed to Executive Vice President leading a global HR team across more than 30 countries in support of the Company’s 54,000 employees.
