Lampton Group and GMB Union sign new recognition agreement

Lampton Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of the London Borough of Hounslow, today announces a significant trade union recognition agreement with GMB Union. The new agreement will see Lampton Group work with GMB to enhance working conditions, promote fairness and equity in the workplace and to foster a mutually beneficial relationship.

The new agreement will see Lampton Group work with GMB to enhance working conditions, promote fairness and equity in the workplace and to foster a mutually beneficial relationship.

With social value at its heart, the announcement reaffirms Lampton’s commitment to attracting, retaining and growing local talent in Hounslow. Lampton is a significant local employer with 1,200 employees, paying at or above London Living Wage, while supporting career and skills development for hundreds of people within the borough.

Through this partnership, Lampton welcomes further collaboration with GMB. This will include regular proactive meetings with the union and ongoing support in the roll out of new policies that support in the delivery of leading working practices across the business. The agreement will also see collective bargaining introduced to facilitate the appropriate levels of pay and conditions for all.
