Disability Confident and CIPD guide on employing people with a disability or health condition

The Department for Work and Pensions in collaboration with the CIPD have published a practical guide for line managers on recruiting, managing and developing people with a disability or health condition. Addressing the most common challenges experienced in managing disabilities or long-term health conditions, the guidance focuses on the role of the line manager in workplace adjustments, language and behaviour and sickness absence. It also provides guidance on recruiting, retaining and developing employees with a disability or health condition.
