DWP publishes proposed benefit rates 2018 to 2019

The DWP have published the proposed benefit rates for 2018 to 2019, which will apply from April 2018, with the four family-friendly weekly standard leave payments (SAP, SMP, SPP and SSPP) increasing to £145.18.

The DWP have published the proposed benefit rates for 2018 to 2019, which will apply from April 2018. Under the proposals, the Statutory Adoption Pay, Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay and Statutory Shared Parental Pay weekly earnings thresholds increase to £116.00 and the weekly standard rate increases to £145.18. The Maternity Allowance weekly earnings threshold remains at £30, but the weekly standard rate increases to £145.18. The SSP threshold increases to £116.00 and weekly standard rate increases to £92.05.
