Acas have launched new guidance to help managers support staff who may be suffering from stress including five signs that managers should watch out for to help them spot stressed-out staff.  With over 11m working days lost last year due to stress related absence, the new guidance highlights five signs that managers should watch out for to help them spot stressed out staff, which includes changes in the person’s usual behaviour, mood or how they interact with colleagues and changes in the standard of their work or focus on tasks. The guidance also explains how employers should approach staff who seem stressed and how to analyse the causes of stress.
