BIS publishes updated technical guide to shared parental leave and pay

BIS has published an updated version of the 'Employers’ Technical Guide to Shared Parental Leave and Pay'. The guide updates the September 2014 version in light of feedback from users to include better signposting to the Q & A on early and late births and the interaction between shared parental leave and pay and sick leave and pay. There have also been four pieces of subordinate legislation which have come into force since the original guide was issued. BIS have indicated that it will keep the guidance under review to ensure that it continues to meet user needs.
