The aim of the People & Culture Director position is to develop and implement a leading-edge People strategy to meet the needs of a rapidly-expanding, innovative business and its workforce, whilst inspiring and growing the existing People & Culture team. The key to success in the role is to combine strategic guidance and creativity with rolling up the sleeves and ensure strong operational implementation on the ground in each country.

Description

  • PAC Strategy
  • Maintain and further-develop an effective and commercially-focused People & Culture department, with particular focus on developing strategy and processes to maximise employee attraction, development, retention and happiness
  • Ensure appropriate processes and practices are in place to enable high-quality HR service delivery, strong employee relations and attractive reward and recognition programmes

Team leadership

  • Lead, inspire and nurture a high-performing People & Culture team to ensure continued delivery against the People & Culture agenda
  • Provide appropriate level of guidance, mentorship and coaching to support the development of team members across multiple geographic locations
  • Organisation Development and Talent Management
  • Help employees grow and manage their careers
  • Lead organisation development initiatives to provide growth perspectives for employees
  • Build engagement strategies, embed culture, values and behaviours and equip leaders and future stars with the skills required to drive the business
  • Further develop succession planning process and develop organisation design tools and create career roadmaps
  • Recruitment and Strategic Resourcing
  • Oversee the recruitment process for leveraging internal and external resources;
  • Ensure the Recruitment Managers are consistently hiring the right people and selecting suitable recruitment partners, utilising robust processes and assessment tools

Learning & Development

  • Work in partnership with the internal Learning & Development team members to build the training agenda for the organisation
  • Identify skills gaps and organisational needs to determine training needs across the organisation and continue to develop L&D framework
  • Deliver innovative, relevant and inspiring interventions to build a learning culture
  • Create tools to identify talent and support employee development

Internal Communications

  • Work with the P&C team to drive, cultivate and spread the company’s strong culture, motivate employees, lead all the internal communications, contribute to amazing and inspiring internal events
  • Organise yearly 360s and HR evaluations
  • Act as brand ambassador in defining and communicating the employer brand and employee value proposition

HR Administration
Oversee (and execute where necessary) all the administrative and transactional aspects of human resources, such as payroll, vacations, benefits, using local internal and external resources

Profile

  • Extensive experience in a similar senior HR role within a high growth business
  • Experience working in international and multicultural environments with responsibility across multiple territories
  • An effective leader who can motivate and get the best out of their team
  • Overall commercial acumen and business management skills
  • Highly driven and result orientated
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence others at all levels
  • Ability to effectively multi-task within a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and desire to work in a fast-growing multicultural environment
  • Authentic, fun, diplomatic, with high levels of personal integrity and clear drive to collaborate
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written). One or two additional European (French, Spanish, Italian or German) language skills are advantageous
  • Knowledge of Asian culture and cuisine is a distinct advantage
