A sector leading global professional services firm. This role has arisen as a result of internal promotion and is critical in supporting a fee earning population.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Development of change management strategies, translating into development activities, resource and culture plans
  • Support the UK HR Lead on the People strategy and related initiatives for the business areas
  • Driving a high performance culture by challenging management teams to appropriately apply a breadth of performance and development principles when making people planning decisions and strategies
  • Acting as an enabler in building organisational capability through leadership/staff review, talent pipelines and compensation reviews
  • Ownership of all employee relations cases, trade union discussions and other areas where HR expertise is required to minimise risk
  • Act as the employment legal expert and provide timely advice on matters, following-up with managers to make sure their intervention has been successful
  • Ensure that managers have the tools and access to advice needed; be visible
  • Work with recruitment & talent colleagues with processes to drive the growth of internal capability, progression of key internal talent and cost-effective recruitment of external talent
  • Run and lead the annual reward process

As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience working within Professional or Financial Services (notably banking) would be an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and strong proven business partnering capability
  • Creative problem-solving skills, ability to manage complex change issues
  • Ability to develop proven HR programs that align to business strategies
  • Commercial acumen and a pragmatic approach
  • Ability to see big picture and a team player approach
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people of all levels of seniority
  • Proven track record in leading and managing change programmes
  • Exemplary people management skills
