HR Services Adviser

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR professional to join our Human Resources and Organisational Development team to contribute to the delivery of an excellent service that supports the University’s vision.

 In this broad and interesting role, you will work flexibly as part of a team and be responsible for the delivery of a high quality Human Resources service across the University. You will effectively coordinate and manage the full recruitment and selection process, as well as all employment lifecycle transactions, including the completion of all administration relating to these workflows and monitoring monthly reporting.

 You will also be responsible for the provision of high quality, consistent, robust, proactive and timely advice to all service users ensuring compliance with policies, relevant terms and conditions, employment legislation and best practice. Additionally, you will accurately maintain the various HR systems and prepare appropriate documents and correspondence.

 With relevant experience of Human Resources, you will also have significant experience of undertaking complex transactional administrative work in a busy office, including substantial experience of high volume data entry in a HR/Payroll system.  You will possess excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and with attention to detail.  As well as being able to maintain confidentiality, you will be highly motivated to provide an excellent and proactive service in line with operational deadlines.
