The HR Operations Manager will be responsible for managing a range of people projects and contributing to the operational management of Seadrill. This includes contributing to or leading the delivery of both local and global HR initiatives that drive Seadrill’s people agenda.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage a range of strategic and operational HR projects and programmes of work from start to finish, including conducting needs analyses, creating solutions and supporting implementation
  • Manage the implementation of HR projects and initiatives, including communications and change management
  • Perform statistical analyses and conduct HR assessments, making recommendations that take into consideration best practice
  • An active member of the global HR community, sharing best practice, ideas, knowledge and working collaboratively across teams
  • Role model, encourage and support collaborative ways of working and proactively identify ways to overcome barriers and break down silos within and outside the Function
  • Lead, encourage and deliver a continuous improvement mindset and ways of working, exploring and enabling new ideas and improvements

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
(Essential)

  • A degree in Organizational Psychology or equivalent
  • Global experience, preferably in a consulting role, or fast paced environment
  • Working knowledge of a wide range of HR issues, trends and tools
  • Demonstrated expertise in the following areas: organization design; talent strategy; career frameworks; performance management; leadership development; HR operating model
  • Experience working with organizations in the Oil and Gas industry
  • Ability to conduct research and complex statistical analyses
  • A problem-solver, tenacious about reaching a solution
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable dealing with people at all levels of the organization including Senior Executives
  • Excellent project management skills, including an understanding of project and project management methodology
