HR Manager

A unique opportunity for an experienced and CIPD qualified HR Manager to join a new group. You will be responsible to the HR Director for the implementation of HR Policies, casework management and will provide HR support and advice to the HR and payroll team as required. The HR Manager will assist in the planning, development and implementation of HR policies and strategy, in accordance with priorities in order to improve the overall effectiveness. Specific Responsibilities Line manage the HR Advisor and support the case work function; Manage and process HR casework accordance with Policies and Employment Law; Provide a support, advice and guidance to other areas of the HR team as required and as directed by the HR Director; Advise the HR Director, COO, CEO and senior management team, developing and implementing HR policies in all areas including: – Casework – Employee Relations – Pay, grading and reward – Equality and diversity – Performance management – Training and development – Recruitment and retention – Workforce planning Support the HR Director in promoting a culture that supports strategic priorities and provides a service delivery/enabling environment through: developing and initiating evidence based policy in an accessible, user friendly, fit for purpose style; Identification, development and application of e-HR solutions and process improvements; Provision of expert advice, guidance and support on a range of specialisms.

Research new topics and legislation and advise on implications for the business; Make recommendations and initiate and deliver training as required; Assist in managing the work of the HR staff, ensuring that all members of the HR and Payroll Team work together effectively and efficiently to support the staff; Oversee the development of system and procedures including working closely with the Systems Development Manager/Director of Operations in data centres and producing HR Analytics and Metrics. Provide reports to senior staff and make recommendations for business continuity. Liaise with external service providers e. g.
