Are you interested in becoming the next Head of HR of a market leading services business currently undergoing a significant transformation programme? If so, then then this could be the perfect career move for you.

Our client is the undoubted expert in its specialist area and is looking to hire a new Head of HR to manage its call centre operations covering East Midlands and Nottingham.  Its 1,400 employees protect the belongings of 16 million customers across 15 countries and they are the unrecognised leader in their sector.

They are backed by a leading global private equity firm and with a recent injection of new senior management talent and a new Group HR Director, are now looking for an exceptionally strong Head of HR for the Contact Centres, to develop and lead the existing HR team to drive forward the people strategy and continued growth.

They’re a fast-moving, people centric organisation, facing many of the challenges that are familiar within their sector; such as volume recruitment and retention, line management development, employee engagement and strong performance management.

So why are we so excited about helping them recruit their new Head of HR?  What’s so different about them and this opportunity?

When you meet the leaders, who run this business, then their focus, dedication and drive for success will impress you.

Their mission is clear; it’s all about taking what is a well-known UK and international business with strong foundations to the next level by maximising operational and organisational efficiencies and focussing on people capability, retention, succession and organisational culture. Engagement will be key!

We’re looking for a Head of HR to develop an end-to-end people strategy and to work with the existing strong team of HR professionals, to implement and imbed the new strategy into the business.

Working closely with the Director of Call Centre Operations and reporting into the HR Director for all operations, the new Head of HR will have responsibility for an experienced and committed HR team who have done a great job in getting the business to where it is today. Moving forward, there is more to be achieved around key people areas such as talent, volume recruitment, engagement, succession planning, development, culture development, graduate and apprenticeship programmes.

So, who will this role suit? Whatever your background, we’re looking for a commercially focused and technically strong HR professional, with an appreciation of the challenges that come from working in a contact/call centre environment.

“Rolling up one’s sleeves” will be important so we are looking for candidates to demonstrate they can deliver operational excellence and work at pace in a fast moving highly competitive business.

So, what will the business offer in return?  Quite simply, the opportunity to be the new Head of HR and key member of an award winning and highly successful success story which has the commitment and motivation to really go places.
