Helen Ives

NHS Professionals has announced the appointment of Helen Ives as Chief People Officer, with responsibility for 1,200 corporate staff and 190,000 bank members.

Helen’s role will cover significant HR development work on EVP, recruitment and retention. With HR experience across technology, logistics and professional sectors, Helen was CPO at Solent NHS Trust, where she delivered the trust’s Great Place to Work strategy, receiving the Innovation in Practice award from the British Psychological Society, for her work on leadership development. She was previously seconded to the NHS England team as workforce and training lead for the COVID-19 vaccination programme, followed by a post with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board, again as CPO.
