Stonewall’s 12th annual Workplace Conference takes place today

Over 600 people from the UK’s leading employers will meet today to discuss LGBT workplace issues.

Stonewall’s 12th annual Workplace Conference, Britain’s leading conference on lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans equality in the workplace, takes place today at the QEII Conference Centre in London.

The conference gives delegates the opportunity to share ideas to make workplaces more inclusive for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans staff. Leading employers such as the Royal Navy, Vodafone, Barclays and British Transport Police will be attending this year’s event.

Speakers during the opening session include Lord John Browne (Executive Chairman of L1 Energy and author of The Glass Closet: Why Coming Out is Good Business), Benny Higgins (CEO, Tesco Bank), Flight Lieutenant Ayla Hodom (Britain’s first trans military pilot) and Steve Varley (Chairman & Regional Managing Partner, EY UK & Ireland).
