Another successful Summit

Celebrating its’ 5th year, the London HR team revelled in another successful Summit with over 60 delegates and 25 suppliers attending.

The Summit is the perfect recipe for success with delegates and suppliers meeting with mutual interests to discuss the latest innovations and technologies in the HR industry.

The day consisted of a series of highly focused meetings between potential partners, with additional networking opportunities over lunch and coffee.

In the evening, attendees had a short break to get ready before being wined at dined at the exclusive gala dinner with evening entertainment consisting of playing a variety of casino games.

This year, the team launched a new addition to the event – the Conference. The London HR Conference gave delegates a day of educational and refreshing seminars hosted by some of the industry’s most well-known names, covering topics on everyone’s agenda:

‘People leave managers, not jobs right? Wrong’ was covered by Talent Q’s Lucy Beaumont, who explored what is driving talent to leave a company, and how you can keep them.

Nina Mehta at Halogen Software presented ‘Building the business case for talent management technology’, where delegates were taught how to quantify the benefits of talent technology, whereas Richard Doherty of Workday explored the diversity in modern HR technology in ‘The role of HR technology in managing change and growth’

Lorraine Porter and Dipa Mistry Kandola at Lane Clark & Peacock (LCP) presented ‘Looking at the practicalities of how to get benefits higher up on your board’s agenda’, where they discussed a run through of how to approach your benefits strategy and how you should promote it.

David Collins from The Training Gateway presented ‘The Latest in Leadership’.  Delegates gained insight into how to lead others and deliver business performance solutions.

And the final seminar of the day was presented by Michal Kawulak of Comarch who explored ‘IT Solutions for HR: compliance, business and people’, discussing the various HR processes and how to maximise their efficiency.

The day received a variety of supplier and delegate testimonials including:

“Time well spent. A useful and enjoyable experience”
Group HR Manager at ATPI Ltd

“I very much enjoyed the HR Summit and found it very useful especially the seminars. The networking experience was also very good interaction, I found the summit both beneficial and would recommend it to others.”
HR Manager at EuroUSC International
