In Vickers v Hill Biscuits Ltd an ET upheld a production operator’s claims of sexual harassment having found that a  manager had made unwanted comments about her breasts and her bottom. The unwanted conduct related to the manager, Ravenscroft (R), writing inside Vickers’ (V) birthday card: “Lisa it’s your birthday, I bet you’re thrilled to bits, but not as much as I would be if I could feel your TxxS!!!” and when V was outside the work gate tying her shoes, and bent over, R said to her, “Look at the f*****g arse on that”. The ET also heard that when R was making his rounds he would say such things as, “How big are your t**s?”, “Can I put my head between them?” and “I bet your husband enjoys them”. The ET awarded Vickers £11,838, which included £10,000 for injury to feelings, interest and fee reimbursement.
