Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace – Article Contributors Wanted

As globalisation, migration, and remote working continue to reshape the workforce, organisations are becoming more culturally and religiously diverse than ever before. This evolution brings both immense opportunity and pressing challenges for HR professionals and people managers.

theHRDIRECTOR is now inviting article synopsis submissions for our October 2025 issue (Issue 252), focused on the theme:
“Managing Multicultural and Religious Workforces.”

This is a unique opportunity for HR leaders, D&I specialists, academics, and consultants to share insights and strategies on how to build inclusive, equitable, and high-performing workplaces that reflect and respect religious and cultural diversity.

Why This Topic Matters

Managing a multicultural workforce is about more than celebrating cultural festivals or accommodating dietary requirements. It’s about embedding inclusive leadership, cultural intelligence, and faith literacy into every layer of an organisation—from policies and communication to leadership and employee experience.

The future of successful workplaces hinges on the ability of HR professionals to:

  • Recognise and dismantle implicit cultural and religious biases

  • Equip line managers to lead with sensitivity and confidence

  • Create equitable policies that accommodate diverse beliefs and practices

  • Foster psychological safety and a sense of belonging for all employees

  • Navigate legal frameworks around religious accommodation, anti-discrimination, and equal opportunity employment

Inclusive organisations are proven to be more innovative, more resilient, and better at attracting and retaining talent. But achieving this requires intentional, strategic action—and we want your voice in this critical conversation.

What We’re Looking For

We’re calling on contributors to submit article synopses that explore practical, legal, ethical, and strategic aspects of managing diverse teams. Possible angles include:

  • How to integrate religious inclusion into DEI strategies

  • Inclusive leadership development for multicultural teams

  • Real-world examples of inclusive workplace practices

  • Addressing unconscious bias in global HR policies

  • Legal and compliance considerations in faith-related accommodations

  • Promoting interfaith dialogue and understanding at work

  • Moving beyond tokenism to create authentic belonging

  • Case studies from diverse industries and global regions

How to Submit

To be considered for publication in Issue 252, please submit your article synopsis via our Online Submission Portal by Monday, 14th July 2025.

Final selected articles must be completed and submitted by Monday, 14th July 2025.
