Harvey joined as HR Director for Skanska’s Infrastructure businesses and in 2008 was appointed as board member of Skanska UK Plc and member of the Executive Management Team with functional leadership responsibility for Human Resources & Communications across 5500 employees.
Harvey is also Chair of the Skanska Pension Trustee Board and a member of the firm’s Ethics Committee. He spent the early part of his career in general management with; House of Fraser, Virgin Group and BT, prior to moving into HR. With Skanska UK Plc.
With Skanska UK Plc, Harvey has driven significant change including the development of organisational culture and structure, and the introduction of a people strategy to guide the organisation through recession and return to growth. His specialties include business transformation, organisation development and culture change, people strategy, HR transformation, and talent management.
