Winners revealed at menopause friendly employer awards 2023

Now in its second year, the 2023 Menopause Friendly Employer Awards recognise organisations and individuals whose commitment and determination have succeeded in providing support, solutions and resources that normalise menopause in the workplace. Two new categories this year celebrated the work of SMEs and organisations fully embracing diversity and inclusion.

Three police forces secure national Menopause Friendly Accreditation

Three-quarters of women want action to remove career glass ceiling

Women in the UK are urging politicians and business leaders to take steps that help older women to remain productive in the workforce for longer, as research shows more than half (54%) feel it would be difficult for them to raise issues, including menopause, with their employers.

Rejected menopause measures do not mean employee rights can be ignored

A senior employment lawyer has warned that sex, age and disability discrimination claims can still be made against employers who do not take adequate steps to support menopausal staff - despite the UK Government dismissing a move to make the menopause a protected characteristic.

Ministers reject calls for menopause support
