Government issues guidance on employing Windrush applicants

The Government has set out what the Home Office will do to help employers wishing to offer a job to Commonwealth citizens (known as ‘Windrush’ cases) who have the legal right to live in the UK but do not have the documents to prove it. In summary, employers can get in touch with the Home Office employer enquiry helpline or prospective employees can contact the Commonwealth taskforce in the Home Office.
