The GOV.UK website has recently posted online guidance for employers which sets out what to do when a trade union requests recognition

The GOV.UK website has recently posted online guidance for employers which sets out what to do when a trade union requests recognition. The guidance provides an overview and then has six ‘how to deal with’ sections on: When the union applies for statutory recognition; Establishing the bargaining unit; Ballot on union recognition; Complaints about and from the union; and Ending negotiations.
