Changes to national minimum wage rates

From 1 October 2012, the adult national minimum wage rate increased from £6.08 to £6.19 an hour, and the apprentice rate increased from £2.60 to £2.65. The rates for 18-20 year olds and 16-17 year olds have not increased, remaining at £4.98 and £3.68 respectively. The accommodation offset increased by 9p £4.82 per day.
