A leading internationa lbanking organisation is looking for a Talent Development Manager to join their UK HR team on a part time basis. Working three or four days per week, the Talent Development Manager will provide a wide range of services to all UK employees while contributing to and supporting the Global Talent agenda. You will initially undertake a period of review and re-energising existing programmes, before managing and continuously improving the offering over the long term.


  • Translating business strategy and needs into best in class talent
  • Bringing together the expertise of the broader talent function, shared services support and technology
  • Champion cultural change
  • Work closely with HRBPs and business stakeholders to leads to identify training needs, design and deliver the core curriculum
  • Facilitate business unit specific learning programmes and initiatives
  • Provide learning and talent support for internal career frameworks and for career development opportunities
  • Identify, lead and manage the delivery of D&I initiatives
  • Coach business leaders to equip them with the skills and behaviours to lead their teams and generate high performance
  • Deliver in house training and coaching as needs be, either directly or with internal experts
  • Identification, onboarding and review of suppliers
  • Facilitate eLearning updates
  • Responsible for the Learning & Development budget
  • Manage the L&D support staff
  • Prepare and communicate the annual training calendar
  • Ensure MI on Learning, Talent Development, D & I is maintained


  • The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree level or equivalent, including a relevant professional qualification, i.e. CIPD
  • Experience of working in a global matrix organization would be an advantage
  • Proven experience in facilitating and delivering training, and internal coaching
  • Track record of build outstanding talent solutions.
  • Strong personal influence and relationship building skills
  • High pace and resilience
  • LMS administration experience required
