The London School of Economics is recognised as one of the leading social science universities in the world, ranked among the top universities nationally and internationally. The School is synonymous with quality, progressive thinking and delivering excellence. The HR Division supports all people management activities within the school and provides advice and support to its diverse customer base of circa 3,500 employees.

The HR Systems and Information team are responsible for providing high quality internal and national statistical reporting and maintaining the school’s HR Systems, including ResourceLink (HR & Payroll), MyView (Employee Self-Service) and Engage (E-Recruitment).  Reporting to the HR Manager, Information & Systems, the core focus of this role is to provide high quality management information and systems development within the HR Division and for the School. The HR Analyst provides day-to-day system troubleshooting, scopes out system improvements with our system suppliers and works with HR colleagues to guarantee the quality of the data held on our systems. The HR Analyst plays an integral role in our HESA staff submission, works with key stakeholders to improve and streamline HR processes, and maintains HR reports using our BI tool, Business Objects.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with HR Systems (ideally with an in-depth knowledge of Leave Management modules), building descriptive reports using HR data and be able to convey clear instructions and explanations to a variety of stakeholders on complex issues. Experience developing dashboards in data visualisation tools such as Tableau would be advantageous.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career in HR Systems and workforce data, joining the LSE during a period of significant change where you will be part of systems development and process improvements. The successful candidate will be working with stakeholders to improve the availability and quality of data to assist the School with its strategic objectives.

We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent training and development opportunities.
