HR Director

OnBuy have an exciting opportunity for a HR Director to join the team. Location: Bournemouth, Dorset. Our journey is only just beginning and due to experiencing exciting growth, we currently have several open positions, including an opening for a highly experienced HR Director. What you will do as HR Director: OnBuy is planning on onboarding at least 100 new employees in the next twelve months, as it goes through a period of rapid scale up. As HR Director you will define and deliver our people plan to support the business in delivering its business goals, whilst enabling people to perform at a high level, and to develop with the business.

Reporting to the CEO, you will also work closely with both the leadership team and line managers across the business. As an HR Director your role will include: – Building a first-class people strategy in line with the company strategy – Designing and implementing HR processes and policies that will scale with the business – Embedding a high-performance culture where people work smart and focus on outcomes – The development and implementation of the compensation and benefits strategy – Implementation of performance management and development processes – Leading the HR function & team – Leading and developing our in-house recruitment team, with our lead recruiter reporting into you – Ownership of the ‘People HR’ system What we are looking for as HR Director: The successful candidate will need to have the following experience and skills: – CIPD qualified to Level 7 – Previous experience delivering tangible results in a fast-paced growth environment, ideally PE backed – Experience in implementing HR processes and systems from scratch – Good understanding of UK employment law It is also desirable that you have: – Experience working in a multinational organisation What you will get in return as HR Director: – An inclusive, positive, and transparent company culture – A team of lovely people who want to see OnBuy and each other succeed. – An employee share scheme – your chance to own a part of the world’s fastest-growing marketplace. – A company bonus scheme to thank you for driving our success.
