Our not-for-profit client, based in Coventry , is currently recruiting for a HR Director on a permanent contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis and is paying up to 50k depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in the sector, however this requirement can be flexible. Duties will include: Operating as part of the senior leadership team, and partnering the Chief Executive to develop and deliver the people agenda Leading key people aspects of the strategic plan, and developing strategy in key areas such as succession planning, talent, EDI and wellbeing Leading as a coach or mentor, improving standards and impact of the HR and L&D team Sustaining high levels of member and employee engagement by working with the Chief Executive, President, trustees, leaders and colleagues to develop and embed culture change and new ways of working Grow and strengthen effective employee relations and, as part of this work, chair the Staff Consultative Forum, maintain effective methods of communication with colleagues and establish effective relationships with Trade Unions Experience required: Track record of leading on HR Strategies and plans Experience in managing a small but dedicated HR team Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Change management People development Excellent communication and stakeholder management Rewards and Benefits : 37 days annual leave BUPA Healthcare cash plan Highly Competitive Pension Employee Assistance Program Cycle to work scheme Working hours : Monday – Friday 08:30 AM – 16:30 PM Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
