This is the perfect role for a hands on Senior HRBP or Senior HR Manager who is looking to step up in to their first Head of HR role.

The purpose of the role :

  • To run an efficient and effective HR function to support c270 employees based in London, the USA, and Hong Kong/APAC
  • To cover the whole of the employee HR lifecycle, from recruitment to exits and everything in between
  • To deliver a first-class HR service to PEI employees in all locations

Recruitment:

  • Understand the business requirements for advancing talent and provide timely and efficient recruitment support to hiring managers, including advice on how and where to post roles, diversity issues, interview skills training and analysing data; manage the recruitment budget
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for the company including identifying, sourcing and securing candidates through direct targeting, LinkedIn, posting roles on job boards such as Indeed and social media sites; managing a preferred supplier list; liaising with recruitment agencies; managing applications; screening CVs; organising and conducting telephone and face to face interviews
  • Manage recruitment budget and significantly reduce cost per recruit
  • Run the monthly induction programme for the London office and ensure consistency across USA and APAC

Training and Development:

  • Identify what training is required for all staff and manage the administration of running courses – issuing invites, booking rooms and refreshments, collating training packs and slide decks, sourcing external providers etc
  • Work with the management teams to create succession plans and identify talent skills requirements

Performance Management:

  • Assist managers in dealing with performance management issues appropriately in liaison with an external party
  • Identify training opportunities and make recommendations

Turnover and Attrition etc:

  • Provide robust data and analysis for the senior management team to make informed decisions
  • Assist the CEO’s Assistant in producing high quality slide decks for Board meetings
  • Lead initiatives an support line managers to ensure talent retention

Policies and Procedures:

  • Review and update the existing Employee Handbooks, and develop new procedures as required
  • Aim for consistency across all regions where possible, while being mindful of local and legal limitations

Additional responsibilities:

  • Create appropriate solutions to the HR challenges faced by the business
  • Build and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with Executives, Managers and staff
  • Maintain the HR database ensuring that the data we hold on employees and others is accurate, relevant, and appropriate
  • Move towards a paperless HR function
  • Utilise technology wherever possible to reduce time spent on administration
  • Form collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across all locations and externally
  • Work on other HR related projects as they arise
