CCS | Compass Corporate Services are delighted to be working with a large, private health care provider during an exciting period of transformation within their HR team. They are looking for an ambitious and creative ‘Head of’ to lead, develop and be fully accountable for creating a robust HR Shared Services team.

As a member of the senior leadership team you will be working alongside the HR Director, wider HR directorate and the SLT to execute the Central Services strategy and plan which incorporates Employee Relations, Engagement & Wellbeing, Recruitment, Reward and Payroll.

You will be tasked with delivering measurable performance improvements. This is following on from the transformation project work that is currently underway; whilst Leading, motivating and developing a high performing team of Shared Service leads, ensuring they deliver against their job role and performance objectives through their teams.

The key to success in this job lies in your personal leadership style as well as your technical ability. The vision of the organisation is that their leaders do not operate behind closed doors and visibility is key across the entire business. You will be a well-rounded HR generalist and have the ability to inspire those around you with your ideas and solutions to problems, effectively challenging colleagues of all levels across the wider business for the benefit of the brand. Travel to London and other sites will be required from time to time.

We would be keen to speak to candidates who have significant leadership experience working with a brand where leadership skills and styles are a key focus. A back ground working within a shared service environment is highly advantageous.

  • CIPD Level 7 or equivalent
  • Experience working within sizeable a Shared Service environment
  • Full and valid driving licence
  • Ability to travel and work away from home
  • Previous experience of cross-leadership, with specific experience of driving and promoting accountability across an organisation
  • Healthcare background highly advantageous
