Communications & Engagement Manager
Are you looking for an opportunity to develop an Internal Comms & Engagement strategy in a fast paced and well-known organisation?
A multi-site, diverse business, is looking to appoint a Communications and Engagement Manager to establish and lead the Internal Communications model during a period of transformation and modernisation.
The role is broad and will encompass developing and implementing an integrated approach to communications and engagement initiatives, which contribute to enhanced leadership engagement, reinforcing the brand and values within the division whilst working closely with other divisions and Group Plc. The role will connect leaders with industry developments, Group-wide change initiatives as well as developments across Operating Companies.
Reporting to the HR Director, this is a challenging and interesting role, where you will be a key member of the HR team and responsible for ensuring that internal communications plays a key role in driving forward the culture and engagement through consistent, clear and appropriate multi-channel communication, targeted towards the leadership population and adapted to the needs of the employees in a multi-site organisation.
As a creative Internal Communication specialist, you will deliver an innovative internal communications strategy utilising your expertise and knowledge to engage employees through the effective use of technology and engaging content to support business objectives and projects during a period of change.
You will also be responsible for taking action to improve Engagement Survey results. This role requires a hands on approach to champion change across the business and to connect leaders with meaningful messages. The role allows strategic input, to shape and embed a consistent and measurable Internal Communications strategy to enhance and drive forward a high performing culture.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally be an experienced Internal Communications expert with a proven track record of delivering enhanced employee engagement within complex, fast paced business, at both an operational and strategic level, enabling continuous improvement.
Commercially astute with experience of project and change management, you will need the confidence and tenacity to motivate and engage the senior management team. The ability to build credibility quickly and contribute to the wider HR agenda will also be required.
