Bett, the world’s leading event for learning technology is returning from 30 January to 2 February 2013 and has expanded to cover workplace development.

Learning in the workplace is changing. If implemented in the right way, a successful learning and development programme can support and even encourage the growth of an organisation as a whole. But with increasing pressure on learning and development departments to deliver organisation-changing results, the barriers of time and cost have never been more essential to overcome.

To remain competitive in a global economy and develop a strong workforce, improving learning and training opportunities for the workforce is crucial. Bett 2013 brings industry-leading training and development experts together to discuss their experiences, offering visitors the opportunity to gain insight into the innovative training techniques and approaches used by leading organisations around the world.

At the Learning at Work Summit at Bett 2013, more than 35 learning and development practitioners, including experts from FTSE 100 companies, will be speaking about how they balance professional development and training needs with the restrictions posed by time and cost. Across three days of free-to-attend seminars, delegates will have the opportunity to hear from their peers in some of the country’s most inspiring and successful businesses and take back examples of good practice to their own workplaces.

As the UK Government continues to focus on growing the digital economy and improving training and development across a number of industries, more businesses will be seeking learning technology solutions to support their workforce. Throughout the four days at Bett, a programme of features, seminars and events will take place in and around the show, including a brand new conference for learning and training professionals in large enterprises and public sector organisations.

The Learning at Work conference welcomes those visitors looking to accelerate the development of any improved learning and development programmes and will offer transferable lessons from the experience of leading FTSE 100 companies.
