Following the disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic, employees are leaving their positions in record numbers. In the new hybrid working environment, organisations can rely on psychometric assessment tools to provide the insights they need to retain their talent during the restructure.

The Great Resignation is upon us. The coronavirus pandemic triggered a radical shift in employee behaviour that has created a secondary crisis for employers.

Some 640,000 UK employees have left their jobs due to the pandemic so far this year. Job vacancies also soared to an all-time high in October, with Britain seeing more than one million job openings become available, the highest number since records began

Unprecedented employee churn isn’t purely a UK phenomenon. A study by technology giant Microsoft found that around half of the world’s workforce is considering changing job in the next 12 months.

No organisation can sustain a 50% employee churn rate. With the disruption triggering significant restructuring for many firms, this is a crucial period for recovery. Hanging onto top talent is vital for successful delivery.

Discover the top five causes of employee churn and how to handle them in this free guide.

With many organisations still operating in a hybrid environment though, it is more challenging than ever to ascertain employees’ engagement levels, preferences and development needs, and take the actions needed to retain top performers.

In a remote and hybrid working environment more than ever, behavioural assessments can offer organisations vital insights into their employees’ engagement levels, motivators and development needs and potential.

Equipped with this rich data on their human resources, organisations can take preventative action to retain talent in the current high churn environment.
