THE PROBLEM:

The challenges of managing deskless workforce – often on the frontline, in transit, and working offline, autonomously and only periodically reporting into a line manager – often emanate from a lack of access to company communication and information. They can easily feel isolated, frustrated and left out, as they don’t have the same level of day-to-day contact with peers and managers that office-based colleagues enjoy. Therefore, the context on company strategy, values and important operational direction are more difficult to convey, leaving deskless workers feeling that they are not as valued by the company, because of the disconnect. This makes the potential for inequality and exclusion around benefits, rewards and career opportunity a constant concern.

HOW WE WILL SOLVE IT:

In this exclusive debate will be focusing on the deskless workforce, in which we will discuss how to overcome the experiences of frontline workers, that typically disengage and can lead to reduced performance, absenteeism and rising attrition. So, join us for a debate that will set out to find practical guidance and solutions to optimising the EVP of deskless workers and how to equip line managers to support this essential resource.
