Top Employers UK 2015 announced

Top Employers UK 2015 announced

On Monday, The Top Employers Institute, a global certifier recognising excellence in employee conditions, officially certified 73 organisations as Top Employers UK 2015 at an exclusive ceremony at London’s Old Billingsgate.

The Top Employers certification is only awarded to organisations that achieve the highest standards of excellence in employee conditions. Amongst the 2015 list of recipients, Rider Levett Bucknall, J D Wetherspoon, and Saffery Champness celebrated being certified over ten times, seven new companies received the certification, and Manchester Metropolitan University were welcomed as the first UK University to ever receive the Top Employers certification. See full list of all 73 certified companies below. The annual research, undertaken by the Top Employers Institute, recognises leading employers around the world by assessing employee offerings across nine topics; Talent Strategy, Workforce Planning, On-boarding, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Career & Succession Management, Compensation & Benefits and Culture. Following validation and an external audit, performance scores are rated against an International standard. Only employers that achieve the required level qualify for the exclusive certification.

Eleanor Nickerson, Director of UK Operations for the Top Employers Institute, says:“We’re especially excited to certify these 73 companies this year, because we toughened the application process significantly. It’s great to welcome back long-term participating companies – we have had 66 companies gain certification more than once, with a whopping 18 of these achieving it more than 5 times. It’s a real joy to see these companies grow, but it’s also a validation of the benefit of participating”
