Ian Iceton - Skanska - Editorial panel member
Ian Iceton, Human Resources Director of HR operations at Skanska
Ian joined Skanska as Director of HR operations in May 2009, where he is developing the HR structure of the organisation.
Ian achieved a BSc in Business Studies from City University, is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has an MBA.
Ian began his career in the City before joining Volkswagen Group in March 1992. He shaped the agenda for HR at Volkswagen for nearly two decades and was been applauded particularly for the benefits packages he put in place for employees. Under his guidance, Volkswagen Group UK was featured in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For on three occasions, and also won awards for their excellent pension scheme.
Ian is married with
three children and is a keen sportsman, with a particular interest in
triathlons.
