Carole Jones - Aviva plc
Aviva plc has appointed Carole Jones as its London-based director of Global HR Strategy & Organisational Development. This newly-created role puts her in charge of developing people-strategies that apply across the whole of Aviva's global business. Carole will focus on ensuring the company's HR policies and systems are consistent across the world. She is also responsible for embedding Aviva's culture of individual recognition across the group. One of her first priorities will be to implement "Workday", a cloud-based HR software system that will, for the first time, put all 36,100 Aviva employees on the same platform. She has recently returned to Britain from the US where she led HR for the North America region.While there she worked on the company's 'One Aviva' vision, helping to unite the US and Canadian business and its people behind the single Aviva brand. Before moving to the US, she worked on the 2008 rebrand of Norwich Union to Aviva.
