Hugh Hood has been appointed Director of Organisation Development for BT Group
Hood has been appointed as Director of Organisation Development for BT Group, effective from 1 October 2010. This pan-BT role in Group HR reports to Alex Wilson, BT's Group HR Director and integrates talent management and succession learning and development, leadership development and organisation effectiveness. Hugh's successor as HR Director BT Wholesale reporting to CEO Sally Davis will be announced at a later date. A systems engineer and HR professional, Hugh joined BT in late 2006 having spent the previous decade defining and delivering major change for organisations and running the transformed organisations, systems and services created. Previous roles include, Group HR Director and Director HR for Transformation at Transport for London, after its creation as an agency under the Mayor of London.
