Dr Lucy Wright BMedSci, BMBS, FFOM Client Training Services Manager Atos Origin

Lucy is a consultant occupational physician who has worked for Atos Healthcare Occupational Health since January 2006. She is currently their Lead Practitioner for Clinical Standards with special responsibility for clinical governance and quality.

Prior to working for Atos Healthcare Lucy worked for 10 years for BP plc as their Regional Medical Director for Europe and while working for BP managed health teams and worked on business health issues in the UK and the USA. At the time of leaving BP she was a member of the BP plc Global Health Leadership team addressing strategic business issues related to health.

She trained at Nottingham University and worked for 5 years in the NHS before training in occupational health. Before working with BP plc she worked for nearly 7 years with the Health and Safety Executive in their Employment Medical Advisory Service. She was the first doctor to be seconded from the field into the HSE policy division when the HSE was first starting to develop its thinking on occupational health.

Lucy is a member of the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council and an examiner with the Faculty of Occupational Medicine.
